In the Last Two Months…

*sigh* It really has been two months since I’ve posted here, hasn’t it?

A lot has happened since then. To say I’ve been busy would be a massive exercise in understatement.

Here’s a brief rundown:

  • Second half of September: Turkey & Greece. (A few pictures are now up on my photo site at ericscouten.com.)
  • First half of October: Back home for four days, then off to Minnesota on work travel.
  • Mid-October: Help Mom and Dad move to Washington. (Yay!) Got to drive across most of the country at 50 mph because the trailer would fishtail at any higher speed.
  • Late October/Early November: Help organize and open a new artists’ co-op gallery in nearby Kingston. (See kingstonartgallery.com for details. Yes, I did the site.)
  • First weekend of November: Took a break from all of the above. Went to Whistler, BC. Sat around, read, slept a lot, explored a little. Didn’t ski, even though the mountain did open that weekend. Didn’t do any photography — just too tired. (Well, OK, there’s one possibly silly road sign that you might see.)
  • Second weekend of November: Grand opening of the new gallery.

I see light at the end of the tunnel now… things may get a little calmer in the next few weeks.
